NWR: I cant lie

so today i backed out of student teaching b/c i have some serious work to catch up on b4 school is finished next week. so i told my cooperating teacher i had a doctors appt. at the same time one of my past cooperating teachers from the same district asked if i and the other student teacher she has now (i know her form college) wanted to go to lunch. she wanted to treat us for graduation. anyway i did work all morning and then went to lunch and who do you think was at the pizza place??? my other teacher who i lied to. i saw her i dont know if she saw me. now i feel like crap.......man i need to have better plans when i lie. im not very got at it. i was mortified.

i on the other hand did not move and did not say a word and tried to duck!!

omg I would have been MORTIFIED!!! But you know what youre human and you need your time off too so as long as she didnt see you then WHATEVER! and if she did just explain that it was after your docs appointment!! I feel for you Im on the same boat right now!!! ITS KILLER and the professors arent making things any better by gicving us last minute papers!

that really stinks! i know the feeling though...stuff like that happens to me all the time!

don't worry about it.. you could just say your appt was in the mornign and after the doctor you went to lunch.. and trust me if it's anyone who gets caught in lies it's me

yeah say that... or you could say you got out earlier than you expected.

uh-oh! I've been there. Tell the teacher your appointment was personal so she knows you weren't sick and explain that you waited in the office for hours but didn't get in because the doctor left for an emergency. By the way, thanx for getting me on here. Everyone is great! Good luck with this one.
