FH opened a fine arts school last fall which unfortunately isn't doing too well. I think deep down, he knows that because he took another job, while continuing to operate his school, because the job pays well and he knew he'd like it.
But his school, sadly, is doing so bad that he's taking chunks of $$ that he's making from his other job to cover costs at his school. And he really hates talking about money.
I tried to point out that the money he is pumping into the school could be used more efficiently -- to put towards a house, our HM, or anything else. I think it makes the most sense to close the school completely (there are a million problems going on that have nothing to do with money) but I don't know how to talk him into doing it. I think he's stuck -- I mean, he doesn't even go there anymore. It's literally for a few hours a week. I feel like he's ditched it completely.
When I pointed out that the $$ could go elsewhere, I asked him if he thought it made sense to continue putting it into the school. He thought it was but couldn't explain why.
Any other suggestions as to what I can say to him?
