my hair straightener just broke.....i swear this is the 3rd chi ive gone through in the past 2 years that dont work anymore....im fed up!!! GRRR

supposedly they know that theres something wrong w/ the wiring and i can always trade mine in for a new one no problem but its just ridiculous that if they know somehting is wrong, then y dont they fix it
- I personally own the maxiglide and it works great ! You have to clean the ridges every so often so the hair doesn't snag but other than that it's fabulous. It's never burnt my face and I believe it can reach up to 400 degrees and has a ridge design so as to create curls or wave if need be (awesome feature). It also has a steamer and though it works fabulous as a flat iron/straighter it has also taken my hair from wet to dry on multiple occasions.
A hair stylist once used the T3 on me as a product test (best part it was free) but it was amazing!!! I was impressed with how sleek and shiny my hair came out after she took it from wet to dry (not even a blow dryer was needed) I already had the maxiglide at this point but I would definatley look into purchasing this in the future.
im not so much of a chi fan so I use a Solano and love it!!!!!!!!!!
this is what I have! its so awesome i cnt even tell you. I have the tickest hair and it cuts my straightening to a lot less.

The maxiglide worked best on me, but it kept pulling my hair out. So I switched.

Do you keep purchasing it from the same place? I've had my Chi for about 6yrs and I'm shocked that it still works- I can't even tell you how often I drop it.

i went through 2 CHIs last year. then I just gave up on straight ironing my hair, I felt like it was giving me alot of split ends anyway. I just blow dry now

If you want a good one, my sister has had her paul mitchell straightener for years....I think they are pricey though!
