NWR: I HATE MY JOB

i hate my job. i work for a small TV station - i got scolded in an e-mail last week about a comment i made, i got in trouble for not doing the right protocol for leaving early, and now they are telling me i have to get a project done by a certain time, when i don't even have the editing time to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I HATE THIS!!! all the sudden they forget that i produce two other shows and its like i am all of the sudden this terrible employee. i don't know whether i want to cry or kill someone!!!

i hate mine too if that makes you feel any better. I have been looking for a year and can't find anything. I want to walk out but have this wedding and a mortgage. ugh. I get really bad anxiety when I am here.

i can totally relate.
its like they NEVER notice all the good things you do. but as soon as you f*ck up just one little thing they are down your throat about it.
its really frustrating. ive been looking to make a job move but nothing has presented itself yet......so i just have to grind my teeth and bear it.

just remember some bosses are just like that. their job is to push you to produce and produce and benefit the company. so dont take it personally. just brush it off, do what you have to do, smile....and then go home and curse them up and down to your FH.

WOW!! I knew I wasn't alone in the hating the job aspect, but this definitely makes me feel better!! My problem is that I don't even know WHAT I want to do!! Life is so confusing sometimes!! Urghhhh!!!

i know what you mean with the whole know knowing what you want to do. I did PR for little way and it was ok but i didn't love it. Now i'm unemployed and i have no clue what kind of a job i want.

There is nothing worse than hating the place you have to go to EVERY DAY! Keep looking ladies...i haaaaaaaaaated my old job, but I like this one, I've been here for 2 1/2 years already!

its just the worst time to look for a job right now but I feel like i might actually go insane if i have to come here everyday. I put my headphones on and blast them so loud and ignore everyone.

Just the other day my boss decided to make a nasty comment about me having to either take my honeymoon at a different time, cut it short, or work from the hotel.... UM NO.. its my HONEYMOON and he got more than a years notice!!! ...to which I told him too bad. I get anxiety easily lately so telling me that is going to make me mad and stressed for the next year of my life everytime I see him!

I looooved my old job so much but left so I could work closer to home.. I am so mad i did that! Sorry to vent and hijack this post.

I look everyday, while at work too! I don't even care if they notice either.
