NWR: I have no Christmas spirit this year.

I keep trying to get into it, but I'm just not.

I can't wait for this week to be over.

I spent two hours yesterday crying on and off about how much I miss my family during the holidays. It took be 15 minutes just to de-puff my eyes for work and get rid of the dark circles so I'd be somewhat decent looking.

What broke my heart was that yesterday, my sister and I were texting back and forth and I sent her one that said 'so did you finally make it home?' A few minutes later she called me to tell me that right after she received that text, someone knocked on her apartment door and she thought it was me, surprising her for Christmas.

Can it just be December 26th already?

I usually love the holidays and I think they really just came up way too fast this year (and everyone seemed to start them so early and they felt SO RUSHED!!!)

Hang in there. They are almost over...

Awww are you spending the holidays with FH? Just think this time next year you will be married and you can start new holiday traditions.

We are spending the day together; it's a little different for us because his family is Muslim so it's not like they have Christmas traditions. It's more of a day off from work for them, that's all.

He keeps reassuring me that next year will be different. Last Christmas was the best one I had in years.

I miss so many people at this time...especially those that aren't here anymore..
