NWR: I need a miracle...

Ever have one of those days when you know something isn't quite right. So you wake up cranky and put on a smile and just try to get through the day hoping for the best? Well Right now I need a miracle....FH just lost his job...and I dont know what to do. And Mercedes has not gotten back to him....I'm panicking.

everything will work out.... it always does.

that happened to my FH a little while back and also to his eldest brother .. and also one of my close friends... it's been a tough economy, but if you keep your sights high, it'll happen.

I am so sorry to hear that he lost his job...That really ***** and i totally know what you are going through. I really hope he finds something soon

Wow that stinks. I know what your going through too FH has a job now but its off the books and is such crap pay he honestly would be making more working at a fast food place but thats a whole other story... Things will turn around you just gotta try and stay positive and not stress too much about it. Just remember that the wedding is still not till next year so you still have time to save! Good luck what does FH do? Ill keep an eye out for job postings.

your not alone- FH lost his job january 4th---nice way to walk into a new year right?
anyway- luckily- he started his new job monday---
itll work itself out

just try not to panic-- the more you do, the more he willl- the worse it gets

I am so sorry to hear that! It is such a shaky time right now for so many people - I hope FH finds something soon! We all will go through alot of ups and downs in the next 50+ years with our FH's but we will always be stronger for it.

i'm so sorry to hear this!

my FH lost his very well paying job with Honda in NYC in November b/c the company went belly up - supposedly - it was some really shady stuff going on over there - and he had to go to unemployment.

now he found another job with Acura, but it kinda ***** there and he's really unhappy and just there so he can make money to save for the wedding.

I hope your FH finds something soon! i think alot of us know what your going to be going through...

Hang in there!!!!

We went through something similar a few years ago when 70% of FH's company got laid off the same day (1 week after he bought his new car). Stick it out together, you'll get through it, and he'll find a new job. Assuming he wasn't fired, but rather was laid off, he can apply for unemployment. Not the best option, but something temporary until he finds a new job.

Thank you guys. It really means a lot to me.

He was fired because he brought his car into the shop yesterday to throw out the garbage...and they said he was stealing and at that exact moment...all the cameras stopped working, so they couldnt show him what they were talking about. I'm so angry right now. It's unfair and wrong. He goes in whenever they want, in snow storms with our car that can barely drive in good weather, Stays until 9:30 when he has to be in at 7am! And they fire him because they assumed he was stealing? It's not right, and something is extremely fishy, because the cameras are hidden and can only be turned off remotely via password on a computer. (I work in security so i've seen how those work)

He thinks its because he wasnt part of the union before and actually joined it Wednesday. The union rep told him that they're going to the labor board and suing toyota..I hope it works. because this could not have come at worse time.

Sorry I needed to vent. Today has just been overwhelming.
