NWR: i need good shampoo/conditioner recommendations!

i just spent like 10 bucks per bottle of what turned out to be this crappy shampoo and conditioner. Please share your recommendations! I have really thick, frizzy, dry hair and need something to make it look smooth..

TIA!

I live for Brocato Miracle Shampoo and Conditionair. Its hard to find, but Ulta usually sells it in the big bottles. I overprocess my hair, so that shampoo keeps it healthy and shiny....

I usually use Garnier Fructis but I was just at my mom's house the other day and she had Dove Intense Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner and I gotta say I loved the way my hair felt afterwards. Very soft and not weighed down at all. I would give that a try.

I SWEAR by Matrix conditioner.
Don;t laugh but head and shoulders for dry hair is the bomb!

I have very thick dry hair too and use Aveda Smooth Infusion--I love it. If you go in and ask for a sample, they should give it to you.

I use this as well. I love the way it leaves my hair and it smells great too! Even my hair dresser says she can't believe it's only Dove. The salon is always pushing the expensive products but I don't think they do anything different for my hair.

I love herbal essence and it leaves my hair smelling delish and super soft.

I use AG products. Its only available at salons but I have wavy/semy curly/frizzy unless i use a ton of products hair.
They have a leave in conditioner (cant remember name right now), and their shampoos are sooo good and they smell like candy!

Ever Pure by Loreal. You can buy it in CVS. It is almost the same thing as Pureology which costs around $25 a bottle and it has no sulfates which strip your hair. I have tried half of CVS and numerous salon brands and this is hands down the best shampoo and conditioner I've used. My hair is dyed, highlighted and gets very dry and my hair looks and feels like silk now.
