Okay, I'm not a freak, I swear :P I'm writing up a lesson on the effects of heat on matter, and i'm trying to think of things I could have the kids heat up and record the results of, but my brain is apparently already on thanksgiving break and all i can come up with is ice/water and crayons.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!

i remember we did this in high school.. but they didn't want us going crazy so they gave us a few different foods and maybe we had to find out the melting point? i dont remember exactly
i know we did chocolate, marshmallows, cheese, some sort of candy and i wanna say bubblegum. there might have been others.. but i dont really remember

i have done this lesson around thanksgiving time (you can really do it around anytime) and we melt the chocloate, then make thanksgiving lollipops....we use candy corn as the feathers...we place then into the mold first, then pour the chocolate...its really really cute, educational and YUMMY!
