NWR: I need suggestions..

Im picking up my 6 year old niece for a week before school starts. I have her from this coming Tuesday til Sunday. Does anyone have any fun suggestions of things I can take her to do. She never gets to go anywhere and thats where I come in. Last time she was here I took her to Splish Splash, beach, park to play with her school friends, etc. She always says she wants to go to a Carnival at night (I dont know where she got that from) Any suggestions wouldbe greatly appreciated!

Adventureland is in Farmingdale, LI.

Build a Bear is usually in malls..... and can get expensive!

That's the only Adventureland that I know of.

Yeah, it's probably like.... 40 minutes or so (depending on where in Queens.)

Long island game farm is great... my MOH lives out that way and we take her kids there!! They love it!

The Children's Museum (upper west side)

Serendipity (good desserts...she'll love it)

Museum of natural History
very fun and hands on

Central Park Zoo

take the Jaws boat at South Street Seaport

If she likes animals there is the Long Island Game Farm out east. We had my neice there the other day and she loved it (she is 2 1/2) but there were kids there of all ages.

if you decide to go into the city there is always toys r us in times sq. too. They have a ferris wheel. it's really cool there.. they even have barbie's house.. thats where they keep all the barbie stuff but u can go in.. it's great.. and you can watch them birth a cabbage patch and then adopt one at the adoption center..really adorable!!!

Dylan's candy bar is fun too. Lot's of candy to choose from , some old favorites there that i can never find anyplace other than the internet! and you can get ice cream.. which always looks sooo good but i dont get it cause im too fat..lmaoo

i agree with the central park zoo is really cheap and it;s def. a good time. and also the hall of science..!
