NWR- I NEED TO VENT!!!!
I'm about to either hurt someone or flip out and quit my job!!!
k well.. we don't have heat here.. haven't had hot water in the 4 years I've been here, 2 winters ago my wall heater decided to start sparking and smoking.. so its shot and last winter the office heater broke, and they don't want to pay to have it fixed... so the mother (work for a family) brings in an ANCIENT space heater.. honestly, at first I didn't think it would work.. but it did... I was warm.. but then she tried to take it away from me in the summer (I don't like the AC on and would put it on to keep me warm)
well now its cold again.. the 'office heater' tries to work.. but it blows in cold air.. so I'm ALWAYS COLD!
well out of nowhere my little spaceheater decides to mimic a dying turkey... seriously you ever hear a dying turkey (or turkey mating call?) I have (upstate- hunting) and thats what it sounds like... well usually it lasts about 6 seconds.. well not right now.. the damned thing decided to croak for a good 2 minutes while I beat at it trying to make it stop! it got so bad I had to turn it off... its been off for a whole 4 minutes and I'm already FREEZING!
I know thats not a reason for wanting to quit my job.. but there's more to it I just can't get into now.. like the fact that I have to make sales calls meanwhile I'm not in sales and half these people get nasty and hang up on me... and how i'm 'lectured' on how to do my job (and what to say on the phone- i'm sorry... she's not listening to what these people say, so how does she know what i should say back?)
and the whole vendor issue... and bank issue and its raining and we're supposed to try and score new moon tickets today and I swear if they (mom and son) decide to walk into my office and talk to each other, loudly, while I'm making an oh so precious (and pointless) sales call.. i'm going to throw my stapler at them!!!
they have their own offices.. why come into mine and talk to EACH OTHER! GO AWAYYYYYYY!
end of vent
