NWR: I need your opinions

I am on the hunt for a good scanner, could you please let me know what Brand you have and how it is and what the cost of it was?? Thanks. Ours is a piece of crap.

I have an hp psc 950 that also faxes. I love it.

I paid 299 or 399 (can't remember) from Staples on line. I am still using the starter cartridge that it came with.

I have no problems with it at all and have recommended it to many friends.

I have a hp scanjet 2200c. Can't remember what I paid but I haven't had any problems with it.

Well Shamma, I think you like mine.
It's a Visioneer 4400, and it uses PaperPort software, which I like a lot, and it scans GREAT. My brother bought it for me, but I'm pretty sure it was $59.

shamma..I posted on the NWR board...but I always always recommend Microtek scanners. They are very reasonable and very reliable.

If you look on pc magazine's site and do a search on scanners you can probably get some good reviews on scanners for the home. Microtek always gets great reviews!
