I applied for a position in the field I've always wanted to get into--journalism. Its not an easy field to get a break in. I recently got an email stating that I am being considered for the position. The position is entry level and for less pay then what I am getting now. What do you think I should do if I get the position?
IMO, I think you should take it. If it's what you really want to do, you should make the sacrifice now! As a sidenote: I'm in finance and have a degree in Business Administration. I recently applied to nursing school for an accelerated BSN degree. I've always wanted to be a nurse but I was afraid of completely changing directions. I'll be in school full time for a year (and unemployed). But the sacrifices now will mean being completely happy in my field for the rest of my life. GO FOR IT AND DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY!

if that's what you really wanna do, go for it. It's a good start and it will open a lot of doors in the future. Good Luck
Go for it...even if its less money it will be wha tyou are looking to do! Your happiness is worht more than any amount of money!
