Tell me what you think.... my father passed away two years ago and he was paying for life insurance for 14 years. a year before he died he filed for disability and 6 months prior to passing he filed for retirement. 3 months before he passed he went into the hospital and then hospice. when he filed his papers for retirement he checked no to basic life insurance but yes to 4 times his pay which is wat he always got. he was under the assumption that they were taking that from direct deposit up until he died. the papers came back as approved however they are saying no i dont get a dime because he filed them wrong. he had to check basic as well as 4 times pay. no1 notified him that the papers were filled out wrong and the insurance company even says that they would have notified him in this case but they didnt. they refuse to do anything.i have been going back and forth with them for almost 2 years now and im ready to quit. i need a lawyers advice!!!!!!!!!
