NWR: If you had an extra $1000...

that you had to spend and could not save or use toward the wedding, what would you spend it on?

For me it would be flowers and plants for outside... we're planning a huge landscaping project and I sure wish we didnt have to pay for it! If we were given an extra $1000 for nothing and couldnt spend in on wedding related stuff, I would spend it on plant stuff and then spend the money we're going to be spending on it now on an outdoor sectional.

I just used my NYC DOE discount to get my uncle a new Dell laptop and saved him over $200!!

furniture... we are using such old stuff right now --- my right out of college couch and coffee table... I can't wait until we have money for nicer furniture

Id spend it on a vacation for Brad and I. we are workng so hard and trying to save and we dont really have any extra money to just go away and do fun things...hopefully this third job will help!

FH never told me he can get a discount, he's a NYC DOE employee, I'm going to kill him, I keep saying I want a laptop but they're expensive! If I can save some $$ that will be great!!

I'd spend it on clothes, bags, shoes, accesories, etc. I could really use a new wardrobe!

Tell him to go on NYCENET.EDU and look under employee discounts. We get 10% off Apple and Dell. We also get discounts off Verizon and I think Sprint.
