NWR im 99% sure

... i have a sinus infection. and i dont have insurance so i can't go to the doctor. tell me your tips and tricks for treating this monstrosity.

my nose is making some freakshow clicking/popping noise/sensation from inside that i'm sure only i can hear. and i've had a splitting headache for about 36 hours now.

Neti pot right away. It will help clean out the germs. Have you taken OTC sinus meds too?

I really think you need antibiotics though...

If you have a sinus infection, you need an antibiotic. I think certain CVS's have some type of clinic thing.

at the clicking and popping. i always wonder if others can hear it too.

Sudafed i find to be awesome (original circular little red pill) or Advil Cold & Sinus.

however, it just clears it up temporarily. an antibiotic will really work to get rid of it.

also, just a regular salene spray will help to break it up/clear it up. just get ready for post nasal drip (yuck)

Get a neti pot...I can pick one up for you at my job for cheap. It totally works to clear your nasal passages and relieve sinus pressure.

i might want one after i've been fighting it for years

i'm stocked ladies. got a neti pot and sudafeds.

the whole neti pot thing i've been saying i need to try for two years and i'm glad i finally got one. it was all wonderful feeling and awesome to be like 'ew GROSS... wait... cool!'

i'll let you know how i'm feeling by the day's end.

if no change by tomorrow i'll have to try hitting up the minute clinic

update is that i feel way better than last night at this same time (you know when my nose was clickpop poppoping away into the night)

i got a neti pot and used it 4 times today...

so everyone please cross your fingers its way better tomorrow morning.

i'm not into the mood to have my sinuses all ridiculous at the TWATY party.

ITA - neti pots are like $5-10 and according to dr oz are as effective as antibiotics in treating sinus infections

i use mine all the time! it's scary at first but i love it now
