NWR - Im a little confused?

Im just wondering besides the unfortunate horrffic outcome of Leah Walsh (SO SAD) what on these boards has been so negative??? That everyone keeps posting about combating it?? Im just wondering because i havent come across anything.

people are getting sick..and i dunno...there is always ..smth bad or negative happening...not that we shouldnt post it..but..maybe encourage happy thoughts!!!!!!!

A million people with sad stories. Sick family members, deaths in the fam, etc.

I don't blame them for asking for prayers, but it seems like every other post!

I don't think posting prayer requests for sick family members are negative at all.

I love talking about my wedding and all but I also love taking about real issues.

Sometimes we need to be pulled out of la la land.

ETA: If a fellow bride needs prayers or help in any way I'm there!

I think they just meant alot of sad news, surgerys, sicknesses, deaths etc...

I dont think they meant it in a bad way...But i don't think things like that are negative they are daily events in everyones lives..
And my prayers are always witht hem

I understand the posts can be a little bit too much when several comes at once but we all have our moments. This just seems to be a bad week for a lot of us. I know when I am sad or having trouble I come on here and post because hearing all of your encouraging words really brings me up! Likewise, if anyone here is having a rough time I want to at least offer them my prayers in the hopes that it will make them feel just the tiniest bit better! I know it has helped me a lot!

I totally agree with everything you said.Sometimes we have to take time to address the issues that sometimes catches us off guard. Thank God that we are able to ask for help, support, and opinions on issues that are not wedding related.
