NWR: Im bored...How many of you are horror movie buffs?

I was always a horror movie buff until I met FH - now I'm a total horror movie NERD.

We love just about everything, with the exception of modern horror/suspense (think 'Scream') and of course, crappy remakes

Italian, German, old 80's, cheesy, classic, slasher, Hammer films . . . the list goes on.

As a matter of fact we just got a bunch in (check out overstock.com!) and last night we watched Night of the Bloody Apes and Doom Asylum (Kristen Davis from SITC!).

Love love love horror movies! FH just broke 300 in his collection (he's got them all listed on IMDB). He even 'starred' in his friends horror movie - 'Hey! You've Got Zombies in your Backyard'

FH and I are big horror movie buffs!!! We love Freddy!!!! We have the whole collection... FH even has a signed picture of Freddy

We also love love love SAW.... it always comes out around my birthday, so for the past few years we have made a party out of it and a bunch of us go out to dinner and then to see SAW

I also like halloween.....

Night of the Bloody Apes was hilarious! The editing was so shoddy that when the scene changed from one person's face to another you could actually here the 'click' of the film and the music was different each time even though it was the same scene!

This movie has many scenes shot in 'real time'. When you watch the car drive somewhere. . . you actually watch it drive there. 15 minutes of watching cars and vespas drive around. So amazing!

And honest?! OMG - he was so funny the way he was ripping on the Scream movies and the King Kong remake.

I loooooooooove george romero.....

I dont like the supernatural ones, except for zombies there is soemthing about them that we looooooove - and some of the movies are just ridiculous but you get a good laugh.

I also loooooove toe tag pictures. Fred Vogel is a sweet heart. the august underground series was good - very grainey and creepy and FH loves that it was violent and gross like that

Fav of all time if F13 part 6- 4 too, but love 6 - classic classic stuff.

Wanna see some real good italian horror -watch cannibal holocaust. One movie that will really just irk me - i cant be alone after watching it - its not real, but people were brought up on murder charges. Hungtington cinema arts center has viewed it in the past

LOVE Cannibal Holocaust! Also check out Cannibal Apocolypse, Cannibal Ferox (aka Make them Die Slowly), Zombie Holocaust (aka Dr. Butcher MD) and Eaten Alive (aka The Emerald Jungle. They're not as good as CH but they're pretty good and some are just deliciously campy!

If you like Italian Zombie movies, check out Lucio Fulci's 'Zombi' (aka Zombie 2 because it was released in Italy the same time as Dawn of the Dead) and The Beyond.
