Just wanted to share our house progress. I've stopped wedding planning to get this house ready and we've come a LONG WAY! We've been busted our butts off fixing up the house that we purchased. We got the keys on 2/1 and we've made so much progress.
The FH is an accountant and I'm in the business field too, so we are very new at this DIY route (plus we are 24, so no experience!) We've done everything ourselves except the roof, upgrade the electric and some spackling. We work all day, then go to the house until 11pm. Weekends we are there for 13 hr shifts too! I can't wait to move in and sleep!
These people were PIGS! 4 of us spent over 12 hrs just scrubbing the dirt in the kitchen!
Hope you can see the progress, boy has it been a long month.
u guys are doing a great job with the house - keep up the good work...by the way we have the same kitchen cabinets in my house

Wow! You have every reason to be proud. The house looks great! Love the new kitchen appliances... and the new cabinet knobs... and the bathroom... WOW! The picture of what the owners left behind the heater is funny... is that qtip I see? Heehee
My fh and I are in the middle of renovating our apt but so far we have done nothing ourselves... unless you count going to Loews and picking out light fixtures for the contractors to installed.

Wow, you guys are doing such a great job!!!!! That's wonderful, you deserve to be proud!!! I'm sure all the hard work will pay off, it's coming along beautifully!!! I can't believe the seller left all that stuff, they must've been in a rush to get out.

yay! looks like my new house, we just closed on our house a couple of months ago.we decided to gut the entire thing. i can sooo relate to what your going thru! we hope to be done renovating and moving in, in a few weeks! good luck
