NWR: IPOD - VENT

Thats it i'm about to throw my ipod out my window. Why can't they make these things durable???? This is my 3RD Ipod, UGH!

which one do you have???

I have a Nano and I have abused it pretty good and it is still ticking - I know people that have problems with the mini - thats why they dont make it any more

Ive had my mini for a while and its in tip top condition. Sorry you are having problems with them - thats annoying b/c they are pretty $$

dell makes some mp3 players and they are pretty durable.
I have the mini dj ditty and throw it around all the time! ( its almost the same as the ipod shuffle, but more memory)
since you have been through a few ipods try change!!

I also have the nano, and have dropped it a few times w/o problem. Although, I am a klutz, and FH bought the insurance from Best Buy just in case! Sorry you're having problems. I am sooo not computer/electronic savvy.

I dunno what i'm doing to it The first two their hard drive crashed, and this one looks like its going down that road. Any yeah I think I am gonna try another mp3 player.

the first ipod i got was a dud (mini) now I have the white one (30gb) and it works great so far

i have the first iPod, from yearrrrs ago, and its still going great.

My brother has the U2, and he's on his 3rd one also. He's only had it since last summer. I wonder if something is up with that model?

Take it back to Apple, my old roommate had a mini and had some problems and they fixed it for her for free. They have really good customer service.

I am on my third ipod as well. I have never dropped any of them. And the hard drives keep failing. I think the lifespan does not last longer than a year!

The minis and nano's do not have hard drives so they will last longer.

One of the student workers here said that after a year her ipod stopped working so she took it back to the store where she purchased it and they replaced it for her. I'm not sure if they gave her the new model or just replaced the old one.
