i'm bored. nothing to do at work and going through old boards stumbled on this convo...so i figured, why not?

FH is snipped! I've seen my fair share of ___ and only one was unsnipped and i didn't care for it

I will not share whether FH is one or the other but does it really make that much of a difference - one or the other???

If you are used to one or the other I guess it's really kind of all the same. As long as the motion in the ocean is going, I would assume everything would be full speed ahead.

Ohhhhhhhh really?!?! We were actually talking about this in our cafeteria at work. How barbaric it is for the little baby and how it varies by country. However, my little boy will definitely go under the knife. I believe he will thank me later.

Not going to lie, I was slightly weirded out when I first saw one, but I'm obviously used to it now (DH has a turtleneck) and i think it's cool. No issues

FH is from Chile..so he is unsnipped... him and his other unsnipped friends like to call them selves 'boys in the hood' lol cant help but laugh! haha..also there are different levels of 'snipage' and my FH's doesnt like hang over..it just has a place to hibernate lol..but it doesnt look funny at all lol..

to be honest, can't say i care since it's the only one i've been staring at since i was 17

but i've already told FH that he doesn't have a choice - if we have a son, it's getting snipped

The passing on of Jewish religion depends. In Orthodox/Conservative circles, it's the mom, in Reform circles, it's either parent. In the reform tradition you don't need to convert to become jewish if your dad is jewish but mom isn't.

We're raising our kids as both and it's really important to him, so I am giving in on this one. My sister is also a nurse and has told me some hygenic horror stories, so it's not a bad decision overall.
