i'm bored. nothing to do at work and going through old boards stumbled on this convo...so i figured, why not?

FH is snipped! I've seen my fair share of ___ and only one was unsnipped and i didn't care for it

hahaha this is a funny topic and I love reading what everyone else has written! My FH is snipped and I would def. snip my son-just based on hygiene alone but I've never seen an unsnipped one before...I may have to google this later when I get home!

As far as a son would be concerned, I think it's barbaric, although i know there are hygeine concerns. I don't have a lot of choice in the matter though since FH is Jewish

is your FH Filipino? You could ask him to get snipped - they consider it a rite of passage in The Philipines! j/k once your used to it, it doesn't matter, it works the same

correct me if i am wrong, but doesn't the Jewish religion pass onto the child from the mother? Is your FH adamant about havign this done? maybe you guys could talk it out...

OK, so I've seen both and I couldn't tell the difference is there something wrong with me? lol.

There is actually some scientific evidence arguing for and against snipping, there was a study that found that unsnipped guys are less likely to contract STDs and HIV later in life, but that they were more susceptible to infections as babies when the snipping is fresh. Just some food for thought from your local science nerd

Not going to lie, I was slightly weirded out when I first saw one, but I'm obviously used to it now (DH has a turtleneck) and i think it's cool. No issues
