i'm bored. nothing to do at work and going through old boards stumbled on this convo...so i figured, why not?

FH is snipped! I've seen my fair share of ___ and only one was unsnipped and i didn't care for it

I've never seen an unsnipped one, and I wouldn't have wanted to see one either, I've heard bad things can happen to the unsnipped little guys lolol!

supposedly, shrinks say that babies subconsciously remember being snipped and that they carry that with them all their lives.
i also heard about the pee and poop getting stuck to their healing skin and it hurting them.

even knowing all this, my son will still be snipped

I've heard that some Filipino men consider this a rite of passage and do this as they get older!

my brother got it done as a child - def not as a new born. He looked like he was in a lot of pain.

if FH and I have a boy - i would never torture my son like that!!!
