NWR: Is there something wrong with me?!?!? regarding my b-day gift

Okay, my birthday is 1 month from yesterday. FH asked me to make up a list of gifts I want, and he'll choose from that list. Keeping in mind that for his b-day he got a $600 tattoo and a $95 Fossil watch. I can only come up with 3 things. What is wrong with me?!?! Any ideas?!?!

So far I have...
1-A Dooney & Bourke Crocodile bag and wallet (which I LOVE--bag is $246 wallet is $175)

2-Vanity from Fortunoff (which I SO want--$699)

3-A new car...yeah I know I am NOT getting this one!

Any ideas???

I want something fun! TIA!!

I am getting a watch for a wedding present, so that's out...
A trip..I thought of that but we don't have passports yet, so it'd have to be in the US...

We usually don't spent THAT much eaither, but he SO wanted this F'ing tattoo.

Is there some sort of techy toy that you want? a tivo, ipod, or maybe a new computer screen?

Not really...I got a Palm Pilot over the summer. No real use/need for ipod.

ETA: I feel like I am sounding like such a brat!

How about a spa treatment. A nice full body massage, mani, pedi, the whole nine yards. THAT to me would be a great gift. Even get your hair and make up done and then take you out to a great romantic dinner.

I'm with you - my birthday was Sunday and he splurged by getting me the 1st season of veronica mars dvd and i was thrilled! I thought that was expensive!

ETA: I think the spa suggestion is a great idea!! I'm a firm believer birthdays are for fun not practical gifts so ask for something nice for yourself!!!

I think something is wrong with me b/c my b-day is in 2 weeks and I am practically begging FH NOT to get me anything....I really just don't need anything, so I would rather him save the money....

you at least have one month to figure it out, my birthday is in 2 and a half hours and the best thing that i was able to come up with was work clothes!

No there's nothing wrong with you. I get the same way...where I feel I don't need anything and don't think I want anything. How about a Simon Gift card? You could use it at any store.

I have been having a hard time coming up with things I want lately too, although I am ALWAYS happy with jewelry. I won't be getting any more any time soon though...we have a lot of saving to do!

Thank you for all the great suggestions ladies!! I talked with FH about it today, and when I ran down my list, he said No to the car (I knew that), and he said I am getting the vanity (the one I want) when we move (which will be before or right after the wedding), and the bag, honestly, I feel awkward getting a $245 bag!

So, my NEW and REVISED list... (thanks in part to you ladies)

1-Day Spa treatments followed by dinner (all in Manhattan--Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa)
OR
2-A new TV for my bedroom. I currently have FHs OLD a$$ 13' tv!

The last thing he said was to tell him the top 3 broadway shows I want to see.

He said 'Don't worry, you'll be surprised'! YEAH b/c I LOVE surprises!!!

Yay! Broadway Shows are fun! Almost every B'day my FH gets me tickets to see one. This year we saw Avenue Q. It was okay- I think FH liked it more than I did. If you haven't seen Lion King- def see that one!
