NWR: It just ain't my morning...

It's 7:52 a.m.

So far, I've stepped in a hairball (thanks, cat!), realized my cable is not working, and saluted the arritval of Aunt Flo.

Oh, and I'm on about 4 hours of sleep.

The silver lining in this is that according to my FB status updates, everyone I know in my part of Queens also has no cable.

Misery loves company!

I could have had this happen to me on a couple of occasions (the cat vom) but fortunately FH wakes up before me so he always steps in it before I even become aware that there's a world outside my bed.

At least when you come home there will be no cat vom and you'll (hopefully) have cable!

This is so true...I could be sh!tting in a hole and showering outdoors...LMAO!!!

Ilana...my cat will probably leave a pile of puke at the top of my stairs for me when I get home, because he can be quite the vindictive feline. Hey...too bad you weren't my secret bride...I coulda sent you my cat!

my moh/sis lives in maspeth and i didnt hear anything from her about the cable going out

LOL I'm so glad I happened to see this, before I went to reboot my cable! I woke up and was like '*** it's not working' and just as quickly abandoned any effort to investigate the cause. Are you in northeastern Queens?

i am in Glendale and FH in Bayside and we are both out. I Think all of Queens is out!

I'm in Queens Village and my cable was out too...gotta be a Queens issue...=(

Don't worry, I had no cable this morning either. I wound up wearing a turtle neck because I couldn't check the weather to see that it's almost 70 degrees outside. LOL!

ETA: I'm in Elmhurst!

The same happened to me- here i am in a Cable Knit sweater and boots sweating my butt off cause i couldnt watch Bill Evans this morning!

I feel like Queens always has power/cable issues...

I don't have time to watch TV in the morning! you guys are good!!

Haha I'm glad it's not just me! I even wore my coat with the faux fur lined hood! Oh well!

Queens really does always have power/cable issues. Add flooding onto that as well. Every house I've ever lived in the basement floods.
