Ok Ladies... I need some help! I'm on the search for a great pair of jeans. My favorite pair is from American Eagle from about 5 years ago and they are at that point where I could sleep in them.
The problem is that I am short- 5'1... too short for 'regular' length, but too tall for 'short' length. I need a store that sells by the inseem like guys. I'm also finding that size 8's don't fit like the used to- all my old 8's fit, but the new ones don't make it passed my big ol' butt.
Any help is appreciated- I have the day off so I'm going to the Mall and Steve and Barry's- so please reccommend a store for me! thanks

I totally feel your pain! I spent the whole weekend looking for jeans to cover my big butt and accomodate my 5'1' height. 8s aren't cutting it and 10s are too big. Let me know if you find the perfect pair!

where can I get them???? I also heard that 'lucky' jeans are the best- but can run over $100.

Bloomingdales... but you can get sevens or luckys at filenes basement for under 100.00

I am 5'3 and have this issue as well. My favorites are Sevens, (The real ones- not the Express ones) True Religions, Gap (They have Regular that runs kind of short) and Hollister jeans fit well too and they have inseams for short people.

I really like Express jeans. They are not ridiculously priced and they fit well. They have tons of styles and colors. However, I am really tall (5'10) so I don't know if I am the best comparison for you. But I think I'd put it out there...

Express Jeans are GREAT! I usually can't find any jeans that fit me right and these seems to work everytime...

Have you tried going back to American Eagle? They make so many different cuts and style of jeans, you should be able to find something there that you love. I'm 5'10, so I always have issues with length and my favorite jeans are from AE.

Same problem, im 5'3 and a 6/8 and I found great jeans at Macy's Calvin Klein and you pic the inseem, so I got a size 6 and 32' inseem and they are perfect!!! cost on sale 35 full I think 70 HTH

The jeans i like the most are JLO Jeans (Macy's) and Joe Jeans (Saks, Bloomies). Only ones that can fit around my booty! lol and i have to get ALL my pants tailored. They are always too long.

I like Joes jeans - they have a 'curvy' version that I find is better for those of us with curves!
Rather than buying regular and short jeans, just buy a pair that fits you well generally regardless of the length. Any halfway decent tailor can make them the length you want. Then they are totally customized and always look perfect for your height.

Guess jeans and Gap fit very well on me and I think we have similar body types...i'm 5'1 and have sizeable hips

I am 5'-0'.....I just bring all my jeans to the tailor. I just bought a pair of true religion and they are expensive but so soft and comfy

I have the most wonderful seamstress and I bring ALL my jeans there- I guess I was just hoping that I could find a pair that would fit WITHOUT the extra work... I wanna be able to walk out of the store with them on (not like I would actually do that). OH well, I'm leaving- wish me luck!

Oo MY GOD I HEAR YA!!! im 5'1... and I used to be a size 8.. I gained 10 lbs.. and im a 10.... so that's my own damned fault lol lol lol... but... before I even gained weight the 8s in my closet fit.... but the 8's in the store were tight...
and NOW.. i am exercising so the 10's in my closet are loooooose! but the 10's in the store.. JUST FIT.. GRR

I have to agree. I have a horrible time searching for jeans. The last few times I've gotten them from express and they fit just right and last a long time. They can be a little pricey, I always wait and use a coupon, but they are so worth it. Good luck!

Lucky Jeans are the best!! I have a booty too and they fit great. They are $88 at macy's, but it is soooo worth it. I like the Sweet N Low cut, they aren't low cut or anything like that, they just fit nice!
