NWR-Job?

I am graduating in May from Hofstra Law & although I have spent a small fortune on resumes & stamps and have literally sent out a thousand resumes I am still looking for a job for next fall. Does anyone know anyone that is hiring or work as an atty that knows anyone or can give me some advice. I would greatly appreciate it!
TIA

Hi - Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!

I am an attorney, and recently started practicing on Long Island (2 years ago). I have two pieces of advice for finding a job:

(1) Sign up for Emplawyernet.com Many offices advertise with them. Great source!

(2) Join the local bar associations in Nassau and Suffolk County, as they keep listings of local attorneys looking for employment.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice--I am currently on emplawyernet b/c our school gets it and I also joined lawcrossing.com which is another legal job finder. And I will look into the bar ***'n. I am currently a member of the Women's bar.
thanks again!

'06 Bride browsing again...

I used to work for a company called 'Mestel & Company' in the city. They are a legal search firm. They also have a temporary staffing division called 'HIRECounsel'. You might want to give them a try.
