NWR-Jury Duty *update*

Ugh!!! So, jury duty starts tomorrow...I'm not sure how many days I have to go, all I know is I'm gonna miss my days filled with LIW-

*update*-so things went smoother than I hoped. When they interviewed me, I told them I am the only person in my household with an income, and I couldn't be without my paycheck (my employer would not pay me for the 20 days I would've had to serve)-so they let me leave!!! Thanks court people!!!

if its anything like queens courts, theres computers in the room. ur limited to 10 min sessions... but after an hour or so, theres no wait for computers..so u can stay on as long as u want.

its FREEEZING in there. bring a sweater and snacks. theres also tvs .. so u can watch home improvement lolol

I got called for Grand Jury and I read somewhere that they don't screen you for that...Otherwise, I would have

nope they dont. i actually sat in a court room..


the criminal was there while u had to go around the room and say ur name, where u live and talk about ur family..if u have kids..their ages... it was soo weird!!!!!! ( i didnt get picked for that. i just watched) but hte fact that the criminal is taking notes..they write everything down..so not effin cool!


every1 tried to get out of it.. but in the end...u reallly cant.

it was a comedy seen. i almost got kicked out. the judge kept shooting me 'looks' cuz i couldnt stop laughing

Queens Criminal Court is the worst to have to sit through.
