I want to buy 1 of these e-readers, I just don't know which one. I was hoping that you girls have one of these and could help me decide which one was better.

Re: NWR: Kindle vs Nook
I was wondering the same question. I was doing research on-line and most said that the Kindle was slightly better than the Nook so I think I may get a Kindle

i just bought a nook..i did quite a bit of research, and there are some features that i love:
on the nook, you can loan books to friends you can rent from the library there is a new free book every friday if you're in a bn, you can read any book available for 1 hour for free you get tons of coupons for free coffee and stuff like that

ITA!! I love my Nook and I love that it has the color touch screen at the bottom. I also like how it is associated with a store, so if you have any problems or questions you can bring it to any B & N and they can help you. Get a Nook and then we can share books!!

Re: NWR: Kindle vs Nook
I've compared the two and honestly I think I would get the nook (but I'm also a B&Nwhore) but I also like the sony ereader because it comes in pink.

agree with everything she said. the only thing I think the kindle has over the nook is that the kindle's screen clarity is much nicer.

Re: NWR: Kindle vs Nook
I LOOOOVE my nook!
I like it for all of the reasons above, plus I don't like Amazon's history with copyrighting and dealing with publishers (one of my BMs is in publishing), so my nook purchase was also sort of an ideological one. I'm sure Amazon took a lot of notice lol

Re: NWR: Kindle vs Nook
i dont have either and i dont mean to throw another option into the mix, but i hear great things about the sony reader. not only does it work well but i hear they have a great lifetime subscription plan for books.

I ADORE my Nook!! It's easy to use, has (in my opinion) better features and you always have support from B&N if you need it. There wasn't even a question in my mind when I was deciding which to go with!

thanks for all the help girls. I was leaning towards the Nook to begin with, but I wanted to see if there was possibly something I was missing about the Kindle. So the Nook it is
