NWR: Laser!

So I got my laser today! it was awesome!

he did my upper lip - it felt

really cold

really hot

then like little shocks. . .

it was over in LESS then five minutes!!

I will let you know in a few weeks if I notice an improvement!

Funny thing was that I didnt flinch AT ALL while he was doing it but then he went to wipe my face with this gauze and i almost jumped off the table

well, it depends on the person - some people need one session, but he said the MOST anyone has ever needed from him was three

it depends on the contrast btw your hair and skin. . .so if you are pale and have dark hair - you will probably only need one session

i have olive skin so i may need two! but even with one, i have heard that the difference is VERY noticeable!!!

lol well i was joking with my cousin that if he left the room and came back he would have found me naked on the table saying 'ok just do my whole body'

i am going to see how well this goes and then go from there. . i would love to get my underarms done!

btw - this is super embarassing - but he did kind of the whole bottom of my face under my nose. . .i wasnt expecting that he did my chin and everything i wanted to stop him and ask if i had hair there i felt so self conscious

i also didnt get red AT ALL - five minutes after you couldnt even tell i had anything done!

it is $250 per session

2. it is 'almost' permanent - after i complete the number of sessions i need ( 1-3) i may need a touch up every few years which is $100 but he is old so who knows if he will still be around when i need it - also, i have talked to a few girls that never went back for touch ups and they are still happy with the results years later!

I want my sideburns and underarms done and if I win the lottery I want my legs done too. I'm with you on the whole body lasering

oh yeah scratch the underarms - forgot about the sideburns - he said that would be another $250 so maybe if i dont need another session for my lip i will just get that done. . .

ETA: if i won the lottery i would have my entire body lasered the day i cashed the check. . . gotta love the italian genes!

i used nair on my forehead when i was younger and now it is so much worse i completely ruined it so i am scared to experiment with any other places

I love it after it's done but it is SO painful. I can't use nair, I'm allergic to it (found that one out the hard way) but when you wax the sideburns you can hear them ripping the hair out I'm getting scared just thinking about it, but the results are so worth it

I have been getting laser on my bikini and my underarm...it costs 250 a session....
I just finished my 3rd session...we will see how it works...but I think I might need another one!! She told me usually 3 works...but we will see....

It is starting to cost a fortune....but I get a lot of ingrown hairs...so...it was really a necessity!!

OH...and I also have been getting electrolysis done on my eyebrows for 2 years, and they still are not done...and it is veryyyy painful!!!

But..if I had money I would do my whole body as well. I am 25, and I notice that I have been getting long chin and face hairs....scary stuff!!! Maybe eventually I will do that too!
