Meat... this doesn't include seafood. I do it every year for Greek orthodox Lent, even before I converted.

Re: NWR; Lent
i give up meat all the time. I was veg for a LONG time, but stopped because I started craving meat. I feel bad about it sometimes, so I give it up all during Lent.

im already on a limiting diet now, so not sure about giving up more

Re: NWR; Lent
nothing, i'm kinda in the mind set of if I want to give something up, I'll do it anytime
when I DO do something for Lent...I usually try and do something more along the lines of a good deed than giving something up...but then I feel like I should do that everyday..so IDK lol
i'm not really religious...more spiritual...so i guess i play by my own rules

I told FH I was going to give up chocolate, but he told me I couldn't because it helps control my moods and he doesn't want to deal with me if I'm without chocolate for too long.
So I'm giving up ice cream and maybe chips too.
