NWR- Lets talk books (supernatural)

sooo.. I think we've all gotten twilight out of our system. And I know we've discussed this in the past... but in the past like two weeks I've finished 2 series and started a third.. (yes I know, I have NO LIFE)...

so here's a list of the supernatural books I've read so far.

Harry Potter Series, Jk Rowling- loved at the time
Twilight Series, Stephenie Meyer- loved, until I read LJ smith
Vampire Diaries Series, LJ Smith- LOVED
Secret Circle, LJ Smith- LOVED LOVED LOVED..
Dark Visions, LJ Smith- i liked.. was a bit confusing
Intertwined, gena showalter- got one chapter in.. saw the word zombie and put it DOWN! (me no likey zombie) but I heard the book was good.
Night World Series, LJ Smith- just started last night, loving it..

I want to read evermore by alyson noel, but I don't know anyone who's actually read the series, just saw it in the store....

any other suggestions would be appreciated. I 've been reading like crazy lately and will prob finish the 9 books by next week.

Have you read Southern Vampire Mysteries series - Charlaine Harris? They all have the title 'Dead' in them, and are the books that True Blood is based on.

The series for Linda Hamilton's Anita Blake novels are a popular supernatural one too, but I read the first book and am not really a fan. I say always judge for yourself though.

very romantic and touching but not in a mooshy kinda way

Also a series of 'The Wheel of Time'. I've been reading it since june of '08 (only read on the train). there are about 13 books and 2 more will be released in 2010

I want to read TTW... FSIL read it and LOVED it and she and I have the same taste in books.... but I don't do well with time traveling. lol.
I couldn't follow startrek (movie) and as much as I LOVE 'LOST' I get confused over the time travel.

ye the time jumping is very confusing lol

the wheel of time isnt about time traveling tho, its about good vs. evil, all leading up to the Last Battle between the 2

I've read Evermore and it's really good. We seem to have similar taste in books (YA supernatural romance), so here's what I've read lately that I really enjoyed.

Need by Carrie Jones
Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
Fairy Tale by Cyn Balog
Graceling by Kristin Cashore *** A Must Read***
Deadly Little Secret by Laurie Faria Stolarz
Evernight Series by Claudia Gray
Impossible by Nancy Werlin
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey

i have read 90% of these books and have to agree. i also have read the claudia gray series and liked it. some of my other favorites are the house of night series, the blue bloods series, the vampire academy series, and the werecat series. i also liked the black dagger brotherhood series (more adult).

He hasn't started it yet since he wanted to reread the last books (and DAMN they are huge!), but I think he's on the last one now and then he's going to read the new one. I'm glad to hear it was good though, I know he was a little worried that it'd be too different since it's someone else. I really have to read these- he'll be so happy, too. LOL!
