NWR: Librarian

are there any librarians out there?

Im completing my bachelors (thank god some of my Associate's credits carried over) and then getting my Masters in Library Science.

I would like to be a children's librarian or work in the schools.

please if any one is involved with this let me know. I want to make sure that Im not making a mistake of going back to school and working part time.

Thanks.

My mother is a very successful Dean of a Library at Duquesne University, and was the Vice President of Salem State College in MA. She also has a Masters of Library Science and an Ed.D (Doctorate of Education)

If you have any questions for her I will pass them on. She has networked all over the country and is constantly traveling to conventions! I think she knows a few librarians in this area.

Good luck!

WOW impressive career.

thanks a lot
