NWR Macy's lost our paperwork

We registered months ago to be balloon handlers for the parade, and they called us for costume measurements, but we never got the paperwork we needed to get into the building to get our costumes (security is tight). So last week I called and they told me I would get it by Saturday.
Nothing arrived on Saturday, so I called them today - we are not in the database.....but they will pre-register us for next years parade

I'm really not that upset, I am looking forward to sleeping later that 3.30 am

So don't be looking out for me in the parade

My cousin will be in the Parade with her bf this year. They will be letters having to spell out Happy Thanksgiving!!

Which Macy's do you work for? I used to work for Smithhaven a few years ago while I was going to school. I almost walked in the parade also. I don't know if anyone remembers when the cat in the hat balloon hit into the lampost and injured people? Well, that was our store's balloon and many of my friends from the store were involved. They said that they would never do it again b/c it was such a long and cold day. I still regret cancelling out. I was too chicken b/c we had to get up early and it was freezing that day. I hope they find your paperwork!

Still sounds like a fun experience...kinda like times square on new years eve...I always wanted to do it once and once I did I would never do it again...thats how I feel about it, I would love to do it! ONCE
