NWR: Manhattan real estate agents

Hi ladies-

we are starting to look for an apartment on the Upper West or Upper East side for a lease starting June 1.

Since I don't have a job yet (my current boss is going to let me telecommute for some of his smaller projects, though! Yay!), but FH does, we are hoping to find a decent sized 1 bedroom.

Does anyone have the name of a reputable and reasonable Realtor that can help us search in those neighborhoods?

we visited alot of apartments with a lot of agents before we found a place we loved.

we were super picky and refused to pay a finders fee.

our place is not big, and it was at the higher end of our budget (but still within our budget)

believe it or not, the company that actually came through for us was Century21. Our agent was named Chris, he was a young kid right out of college and i think ours was his first deal!
