I went to the gyn for my annual nearly 2 months ago, and I never heard from them regarding my pap results. I called today and asked what was going on. The nurse told me that my pap was totally normal I haven't had a normal pap in over 3 years (thanks to being blessed with HPV) so this is great news! I am super excited so I had to share with the girls! Sorry if it's TMI for ya

That's great news! You'd think they would have called you to let you know, considering your history and the fact that you might be stressing....
I heard today that HPV 'clears itself' in two years... is that true?
Anyway, congrats again. There's no such thing as TMI on this board...we're all here to support each other in the good and bad.

I think it depends on the person. I also got the vaccines even though I already have HPV, my doc says they'd still protect me from the worst strains of the virus.
