NWR: Medical Issue

Hi Ladies,

I'm sorry I've been missing in action lately. I havent been myself or feeling very well- so I went to the doctors last week. On Friday morning, I had an MRI of my brain done and by the afternoon I was called to let me know, they had found a 1.4cm (considered large) pineal gland cyst or tumor on my brain. I'm DEVASTATED by this and will meet with a neurologist next week, to discuss next steps. HOW could this happen, 85 days before one of the biggest days of my life.. I'm so sad and can't wait to see my dr.

I actually have the same thing. I know it's incredibly hard, but try your best not to stress... you can FM me if you need to talk about anything. Xo you'll be good, and you're going to have the most amazing wedding!

ETA: These types of cysts are actually fairly common, and the phrase 'brain tumor' is SO scary... but it probably won't be as bad as it sounds...

hey hun
im actually a neurosurgery PA...i do brain and spine surgery with my attendings a lot...if you need any surgeon recommendations i work with a HUGE group of them, you can google NSPC.com....i could give you a few names...
