anyone going to opening night tonight??

FH and I are going and we are soooo excited!

It's usually a weekday. It's at night because it's the Padres. They had a night game last night so it wasn't fair to make them play a day game in a different time zone the next day.

I couldn't get tix for today (I'll be there Saturday) but I'm so excited about baseball season!!!! I seriously inquired about getting married at citifield by the FH rejected it...

Have fun at the game! GO METS!

You are totally right with your answers - I'm just sure why it was scheduled this way at all.

The Padres aren't a natural rival, but I guess the Mets didn't have much say.

the cheaper seats arent that expensive, but for the first game at citifield that we go to, i'd rather it be better seats. believe me, i enjoyed sitting in the picnic area last year at shea... lol

i just looked for games after his birthday, and they have better seats available for better pricing, so maybe i'll do that. who knows.

The fans are rabid there, they really are. Last season a guy looked at me and said if he had 7 bucks for every Met fan in the stadium he'd buy cheesesteaks and throw them in all our faces. That was special.

I told him to go ahead, because I like cheesesteaks and I'd welcome the free one. But they're friggin' insane!

Yeah, on 4/4 ... we were there! We were also there for the expo on 4/3.
