NWR Microsoft office question

Hi girls I am working on something at work and no one here knows how to resolve an issue I am having. Thought I would post and see if anyone knew what to do.

We are doing a mail merge from a spreadsheet in excel to a document in word. What needs to happen is that some of the content in word has a hyperlink attached to it, but when we merge it into the document, the words appear, but the hyperlink is no longer attached. I could go and reattach each one manually, but we are talking a couple thousand attachments. So if you know a better way and could share, that would rock!
