Nwr: migraines

I can't take them anymore. They hit and I can't take it! I am pretty strong but these things stink! Thanks for listening. Btw this is post 300!

I just finished a 14 page 'quiz' paper for school- I definitely have a migraine right about now lol

If you get them a lot you should definitely see a doctor--make sure nothing is going on. They may also be able to offer some insight to the onset and how to prevent/treat.

As someone who has suffered from them for years--I feel your pain.

i started seeing a neurologist this summer for my migraines. I'm sorry I waited so long, but FH made me feel like I was crazy and dramatic, but my dr said a percentage of people NEVER experience headaches and don't know what it's like.
anyway, I get injections for the migraines every 12 weeks, and I have prescribed pills for acute treatement. I still get headaches, but DEF not as severe, frequent, etc.

PS-my dr told me NOT to take excedrin migraine bc it's loaded with caffeine, and caffeine is a trigger for alot of people for headaches
I used to take it too, and i told her soda and coffee made my headaches go away, but she said headaches are sometimes caused by the withdrawal of the caffeine, so its a temporary relief, but then the next headache is worse

Hope you feel better soon!!! A girl I work with gets really bad migraines and I know she has medicine for it and some gel she puts on her temples.

Totally agree. For some people the caffeine takes the headache away and for others it makes it worse. I never knew this until I started seeing the neurologist.

Definitely would see a professional if it's effecting your life on a continual basis.
