NWR.. Migrains (sp)

Hey chicas!!! Well I dont know where else to go for advise you guys help with everything!!!!
Well I have been having migrains I beleive, I have never had them before but I have to take around 3 advils or aleve to get thru the day. Does anyone have experience with these types of headaches???

I did, the best bet is to see a doctor. I had a migraine for two weeks straight. My doctor gave me Imitrex. It works like a charm. FM is you want more infor.

I get them...try taking excedrine migrane! Im on Rx for them but if it gets that bad def go see a Dr!

I do. My doc says that they are stress related and maybe even nervous blood pressure. Whne i get very angry... all of a sudden i feel like little men are in my head dancing on my temples. NOT COOL.
Anyway I also get them around that time of the month.

I have been getting 1 everyday for the past 2-weeks.

I think it is because my new Pill I am on & I actually have a call into my doctor today about it

I have suffered from migraines for 10 yrs.+ The above head aches are probably due to blood flow constriction.
Def. go to a dr., excederine mirgraine does work well. Also, turn off the lights (if possible), take deep breaths, drink water-headaches are also caused by dehydration.

I'd get to a doctor. Ive dealt with migranes since 99 and they come and go .. but they def. STINK.. for 6 months i can have zero, then i can get 5 in a week... i have perscription pills.. i put it under my tongue it melts and in 15-30 min im back to normal!
maxalt mlt is what i take... this just happens to be a bad few weeks.. lots of things can trigger them...
so its worth it to get to the doc and have them check you out... try to write down what you are doing right before they happen that might help the doc ...

make sure you drink alot of water. Water is very important and I know you are having a haqrd time right now and you need to take care of yourself girl. Drink lots of water.

My mom gets awful migraines, and her doctor prescribed fiorinal. She's tried EVERYTHING, and the fiorinal has been the only thing that helps...

Definitely talk to your doctor....Hope you feel better...

I have to really monitor my body. i get them when i sleep too much, sleep to little, eat certain foods, don't drink coffee, drink too much coffee, i take over the counter excedrin which seems to work and my ob gyn gave me a prescription of something. i am supposed to go see a neurologist to get ruled out for anything, but don't have time. i got them a lot when stressed. if i don't take my excedrin with a cup of coffee i have to go to bed. When i first got them it was due to the sun. The glare off certain things. I would feel my right hand fall asleep and then blackout. WIthing 20 -15 minutes of this i was puking my guts out. This happened a lot when i worked in a supermarket. When i doubt i cover my eyes with shades, close the darkness out of my room with black curtains and go to bed. it is horrible.

GO TO THE DOC SWEETY IT CAN BE THE WEATHER CHANGE, BUT TO MAKE SURE GO ... I TAKE MAXOLT LOVE IT!

I have a really bad headache now too. I am sure it's nothing compared to a Migraine but I also think it's because of TOM.

OMG Yes I get the worst migrains!! Nausea, sensitivity to light, intense head pain.... I am on Birth control pills and that can be a common side effect fromt he changing hormones throughout you cycle. Excedrine can be very helpful but make sure you take it as soon as you feel one coming on. Dont wait until its a full blown migrain. That's waht my doctor told me to do. Hope this helps!
