I used a chi for a few years and I noticed a long time ago that I was getting lots of broken hairs on top and they looked terrible. I didn't use my iron in 3 months AT ALL and I still see tons of broken flyaways. Anyone else have this problem? What can I put in it that won't weigh it down?
Also, when will it fully repair??? I thought after 3 months it would have made some progress
Thanks in advance ladies!!
Oh and, funny how I am obsessed w/ flat ironing my hair but I'm going curly for the wedding

Re: NWR- more flat iron talk
I have a chi and love it. I haven't noticed this problem with my hair. Do you put anything in your hair before you flat iron it? I put this serum from chi in before I flat iron it. Maybe you need to use something in your hair before or after!

I use the CHI iron on all my customers. Always put a flat iron shield before, I prefer chi oil. Also, try Extreme CAT from Redken its a spray you lather in and rinse. Its a protien for you hair. Do you highlight your hair?

Oh yes I think the Chi silk is what I use. It comes in this little bottle and it's grey with a red cap. I don't know but I love it!
