Hey ladies. Does anybody here have a motorola razr phone? If so, how do you like it? How well does it work? How long have you had it for? Any problems?
My cell phone conked out, so I'm shopping around for a new one, and considering the razr because I like the idea of being able to shove it in my pocket so easily. Is it really durable enough for that, even though it's so thin?
anything you can tell me will be great. thanks!

I just got a new phone and I was going to go with the razor but three different salesmen told me that basically once you drop that phone it's shot. I decided to go with the new LG phone instead.

me too, just this week I switched to Verizon and after a LONG search of phones I declined getting a Razr because of BAD reviews. Check out this site for more reviews EOPINIONS

Mine is a POS so is my brother's. Battery dies very quickly, and it has a delay when you press the buttons.

wow-I'm surprised so many people are having trouble. I have a pink one and love it. I've dropped it several times and it's fine.

Me too! I love mine, and the reason for my battery not lasting for days is cause I dropped it in water

Me too.. I love mine. I have a silver one and i have dropped it a zillion times and it still works perfect. That is why I got it. I hate having bulky phones and not being able to just shove it in my pocket or in a little clutch bag. I give it 2 thumbs up

FH and I both have them and so far so good. We just got them though because it was contract renewal/upgrade time. I charge the phone everyday so I don't know about the battery dying fast.

Re: nwr: MOTOROLA RAZR PHONE question
I'm on my third pink Razr phone. I got my first one for Valentine's Day because I'm a sucker for pink. It was a lemon. It would die in the middle of a conversation with NO warning. I would call a number from my ADDRESS book and it would tell me to check the number and dial again. Um... the screen says, 'Calling MOM'... I'm pretty sure I dialed correctly. The battery died SO fast. So... replaced that one and WOULDN'T let them give me a refurbished one. Well, that one stunk, too. I guess third time's a charm, though, becuase this one (which I also made them give me a BRAND NEW ONE at the store - I'm very persistent) seems to be doing the trick (although the battery doesn't last as long as I would like. I have dropped it getting out of my car a few times, and it seems to be holding up.
The 'plusses' are that it it just so darn cute. It's slim so it does fit anywhere.
I would say try it, but keep an eye on it in those first two weeks, and if you see ANY problems, march right back in that store and swap it out while you're still allowed. Don't download too many things to it that they won't reimburse you for or take any pics while you're still 'testing' it so you don't lose anything.
Good luck!

Me and FH have them and have had no problems with them at all (since last August). My battery lasts just as long as my other cell phones did and it is durable. I'm shocked that there are bad reviews

I am happy with mine. Only complaint is that the battery dies very quickly. I am going to have to get a car charger.

I have a pink razr and was sooo excited to get it. however, it is slow to respond. you push a button and you can count 2 seconds before the phone does anything. and the battery dies quickly if you talk on it alot. battery is ok at best if it is on standby. I did hear that if you have cingular it is better with the rzr but i am a diehard verizon girl and would never swicth service, so basically i am just suffering because too much time has gone by and i don't think i can return it now. probably more info than you needed!!!!

I have the Cingular one. I charge the battery every three days or so. I don't talk on it a lot since I'm in my office most of the day and then home. I have a charger in my car, one in my office and one at home. I've always had that no matter what phone though. I also have the Plantronics blue tooth headset which is great! The battery life on that sucker is great! It feels like I never charge it.
I was worried about it's sturdiness at first, but after dropping it all over the place and having it be fine I was relieved.
I hear the Nokia's are really the best phones though. I really like the RAZR and happy I got it.
