NWR: Moving is expensive!!!!
In two week, I'll be moving from Boston to Philly to start my new job. I do get relocation reimbursement and I started to look at some moving companies. It is EXPENSIVE!!!! I thought it would just be a couple hundred dollars, since it's relatively close. it's like $1000+!!! And we don't even have THAT much stuff, we have a tiny 450 sq. foot apt!!!
It's funny how stuff accumulates over the years...I moved up here with a bed and maybe 10 boxes of stuff.....and now i have TONS of stuff!!!
The cheaper alternative would be u-haul and our own man power....but I'm lazy...plus, i don't have very much man power...so I'd end up moving the pillows or something like that. FH alwasy gets frustrated that I can't carry as much as he can. When we got out sofa, we pretty much ran into the same situation as in that Friends episode when Ross kept yelling, 'PIVOT...PIVOT'.
