Franklin Square, Floral Park, Lynbrook, East Meadow, Levittown, Wantagh, Seaford, Bellmore, Merrick, & Plainview
most homes in Plainview (that don't need major construction before you move in) are over 600k

I highly reccommend looking into Levitown, East Meadow, Massapequa, Bethpage, Merrick, all are in the middle of everything pretty much and close to all parkways and I'm pretty sure you can find a nice house for that price. I live in Levittown and it is a nice, quiet safe place.
