We had to put my 19 yr old cat to sleep last night. I am so devasted. I knew the day would come but it hurts so much. I miss her so much. It felt so strange not having her a sleep on my head this morning or purring in my ear.

Im sorry to hear that. I cant even begin to imagine the pain you must be going through. I have two dogs and I sometimes think what I am going to do when its their time to go..I try not to think about it...but its hard sometimes
I'm sooooo sorry! I just went through this in April with Jiffy. She was 13. I still miss her so much it hurts. I can only tell you that in time it does get just a little easier. Not that this makes it any less painful but 19 is a long time. That's many years of loving that she gave you and you to her. If you need to talk please FM me. For now all I can do is give you these. I am so sorry for your loss!

I'm so sorry....putting my 17 year old dog down was the worst thing i've ever had to do.. I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through this.

Awe sweetie I know EXACTLY how you feel right now. We put my Sneakers to sleep in March on his 19 1/2 birthday. For a cat to live that long is a miracle with all their problems that they get as they get older. Not one day goes by where Sneakers isn't a part of my thoughts. Your kitty is in a better place now and remember she's up there playing with my Sneakers chasing mice and string and lounging around with him. Losing a pet is like losing a family member. I remember the day when Sneaks came into my life..I was 8 years old. Remember all the good times/memories that you had with your baby. If you need anything...I'm here to chat with.

I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. She was such a beautiful kitty and I know you will see her again someday. Just take comfort in the fact that you gave her a great life, and that you loved eachother.
