NWR: My cat died today! ETA- Help!

she fell out the window 5 flights. I just got to work when FH called me adn didn't know what to do. I found a hospital near our house and I went there. At first it looked good, but then she took a turn for the worse. She was 6 years old. I am so sad. how do I deal with this and my wedding is so close? I loved her so much. I miss her.

My cat died in April and I got married in June at first I cried for days and then I picked myself up and went on with wedding planning. The morning of the wedding I thought I would cry, but instead I smiled because I knew he was partly responsible for the gorgeous weather we had.

It takes time to heal. Don't rush yourself.

Just bumping the fact that I went through this and it is tough.

I will reiterate. Don't rush yourself. You will heal, but it takes time. Maybe you should take a day to NOT do wedding planning and just plan a fun day for you and FH.

Yes, we lost few people right before the wedding, including one of our groomsmen. It was very hard for us to plan, and everytime we did something 'wedding' we thought of our friends not being there with us. It gets easier, and at somepoint in wedding planning it feels like he whole universe is against you....but it does get easier. Now when we think of those who could not be there with us, we smile because we know they really were.

It will be OK, and wedding planning will become fun again.....just have a little faith and patience.
