but these kids do expect things b/c their families have always given them lavish things and they feel that there is nothing wrong with what they are getting. Do I think they are rotten kids, sure I do? But if you had more money to give away without feeling a hit to your bank account, you would do it. If you made a million dollars a year, you wouldn't get your 18 year old kid a BMW for their birthday? i mean a toyota corrola would not look right sitting in the driveway of a 12 bedroom mansion in Muttontown would it?? (no offense to anyone) JMHO. I'm not trying to start a fight here. Luv y'all!

This show frustrates the crap out of me!!!!! These kids are having more elaborate and expensive birthday parties than our weddings!!! I can only imagine what THEIR weddings will cost and look like!!

I can't imagine what they are even going to have to do for their wedding to be bigger and better than their Sweet 16.

But to respond to the poster above, if my parents had given me a limitless budget for my sweet 16 when I was in H.S., you bet I would be doing the same exact things as these girls! BUT, I still wouldn't be talking to my parents like that unless I wanted 2 black eyes and no teeth for my party!
