Im really pissed.. I went to get tips put on my nails today which I never do, but I thought it would be nice coz Im going on vacation next week.. Anyways.. They look horrid!!! I look like a porn star.. They are way too wide for my fingers.. I should have told her to fix them but I was too pissed off and just wanted to leave.. Plus my nails are so sore underneath I guess coz how hard she was filing the tip!! Anyway if I go to another salon can I tell them to make the nails thinner on the sides.. Dont they have a machine they use to file them down?? Im clueless about this stuff....

I would say to go back. When I had mine done, I think she was getting ticked at me because I just kept saying, 'more narrow' because I HATE when it's wide on top. You probably paid a pretty penny for it... go back and say you're not happy and have them do it for free. Maybe call first and see if you can have another girl at the place do it and tell them you don't want to pay since you weren't happy with the job the other girl did.

and make sure you speak to a manager and not just someone at the front desk. they should be pretty accomidating. you can really take back anything (hey, my aunt returned milk that had gone bad before it's expiration date), but something like this should be automatic. especially since they're hurting you. at the very least, get them to make it more comfortable.
