my step-mom is going to have major oral surgery at the end of this week and my Dad is finishing up a treatment that he's been on for the last 30 weeks.
I wanted to send something they can both enjoy but I'm at a loss.....I was trying to do something other than flowers.
Any ideas?

A gift certificate to their favorite restaurant (after she heals from her oral surgery) ... or tickets to a show ... or a night out of town somewhere?

what about doing some stupid at home package.... make a basket and put a blanket for snuggling up on the couch. a box of jello/pudding/applesauce sorta stuff for her...some popcorn for him....maybe a gift certificate to blockbuster....and then do a cute note that this is something for you both to enjoy and that i'm thinking of you at this time

I like that idea a lot. I was thinking about something like that -- looks like it's a winner!
