I used to be a super avid reader, but since I went to law school, there wasn't much time for anything not law related.
Any suggestions? I just bought a Kindle and would love to download a bunch of new books to read after the bar is over next week.
TIA!

Re: NWR Need a good book recommendation
literally i think that the last book i read was eat pray love and now they're already coming out with a movie!
oh, i like the jodi picoult books, anything that has to do with world travel, love stories (obv), family oriented.
don't really care too much about the vampires lol. FH is obsessed w/ twilight so i know everything about the series even though i've never read the books or seen the movies!

Med school did the same to me!
What type of books are you into? With the exception of the True Blood bloods, i don't enjoy novels. 'My Lobotomy' was very good, 'Sin in the second city' is also very good, 'Manic' is a nice portrayal of bipolar disorder......ummm..... Batle Royale is another novel.....but AMAZING (there is a movie made after but its in japanese)
Happy Reading!

You HAVE to read 'the Forgotten Garden' by Kate Morton. I have passed it along to 4 people this summer already who say it is the best book they've read in years. The story and characters are amazing.

I love the Steig Larsson series...they start with The Girl with the dragon tattoo, then The Girl Who Played with Fire, then the last one (I'm still reading and it's so good) Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest.

If you like world stuff, are you into Thomas L. Friedman books? The World Is Flat is a really good one (so says the NYTimes) and Hot, Flat & Crowded is really good. They're not novels though..
